The Base Program
It would be difficult for you to personally identify maintenance or security issues as they happen. There are periods of time that you do not see your vacation home for several months. Ice storms, tornado, thunderstorms and high winds are capable of creating havoc for a homeowner. VHS can help give you peace of mind knowing someone will be checking in on your vacation investment. Our Base Program ensures your home is looked after and that maintenance or property hazards are detected quickly.
The Base Program is an inspection for hazards on the premises and home security. We will create a check-list for the monthly inspection plus we evaluate the home for any obvious problems.

- Heating & cooling check and adjustment as needed or requested
- Check for leaks on all water sources (ice makers, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, washing machine, well pump
and tank) - Run water in all sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, etc.

- Check to see that phone lines are working
- Check to see that refrigerators and freezers are operating
- Check for tripped breakers in electrical panel
- Check windows and doors to see that they are locked/secure

Pre-Arrival Services: Includes "opening the home" by turning on select appliances and systems, getting the pool/hot tub ready, preparing the outside areas and arranging for professional cleaning service.Departure Services: Includes "closing the home" by checking and making necessary systems adjustments to the atmosphere, structure, electrical, plumbing, appliances, phone, heating/air conditioning, security and exterior for an extended homeowner absence and arranging for professional cleaning service.
